Shuhe Zheng and Simone Grieco have been recruited as PhD students within the framework of the MonaLisa European project. In collaboration with the team of Prof. Jean-Marie Lehn (ISIS, Strasbourg), Shuhe Zheng will focus on the study of molecular diffusion constrained by mechanical actuation. In collaboration with the Soprema company, Simone Grieco will develop new sliding polymers with enhanced mechanical properties.
Gianni Pacella will work as a postdoctoral researcher on the development of new motorized hydrogels.]]></content:encoded>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[The European MonaLisa project has received €4.1 million in funding from the European Union. Coordinated by our team, this project involves recruiting 15 doctoral students working in Strasbourg, Liège, Groningen, Dresden, Munich, Bologna, and Bordeaux. Several industrial partners will also contribute their expertise to train the doctoral students and help further develop the scientific advances achieved by the consortium.
The coordinator will be assisted by Célia Jager, project manager, who has been recruited since April 2025.

The selected students will benefit from lectures and tutorials involving the best worldwide specialists in the field (and including the Nobel Prize for Chemistry 2016, Ben Feringa).</p>
