Dr. Adrien Bessaguet
Post-doctoral Researcher
Dr. Adrien Bessaguet comes from Niort, France. He completed his PhD « Toward the conception of molecular networks based on the combination of interlocked structures » under the supervision of Prof. Sébastien Papot in the University of Poitiers, France. During his thesis, he worked on interlocked structures such as rotaxanes and catenanes, trying to make them interact. Then, he did his first 6 months post-doct in the same laboratory to finish the project.
Since April 2023, he’s working in the team of Prof. Nicolas Giuseppone as post-doctoral student. His work focuses on integrating molecular motors in several subjects like stimulating mechanotransduction in cells, motorized networks and mechanophores.
