Pierrick Petitnicolas obtained his Master's degree in Molecular and Supramolecular Chemistry at the University of Strasbourg. During his first year he studied catalysis in confined space in the SOCAT team under the responsibility of David Sémeril . During the second year of his master, he joined the SAMS team working on the use of peptides in combinatorial dynamic chemistry via a dynamic system. He then began his thesis in this same group under the supervision of Professor Nicolas GIUSEPPONE working on molecular rotators.
